I have visited Panarottis Gateway many times over the years, and it is a standard Panarottis experience with the usual good food and service. My biggest gripe with this branch is the constant queue for a table, largely due to the size of the restaurant. While I understand that space may be limited, I would expect a more organised system than simply writing your name down and being told to stand aside. Without an estimated waiting time, the process feels inefficient and creates unnecessary confusion. The children’s play area can also get quite noisy, which can be irritating if you are seated nearby. That said, this is not entirely the restaurant’s fault, as it often comes down to parents not properly supervising their children. Overall, the food is good, the service is fine, and the prices are mostly worth it.

Amazing experience as always at Panarottis, Gateway. Mark is awesome and always makes sure that customers feel welcomed and have an enjoyable dining experience. The food is delicous, the waitrons are friendly and the service is excellent. I highly recommend coming to Panarottis Gateway for a rewarding eat-in or takeaway experience.

My waiter really made my visit to panarottis gateway a really good experience. She was so friendly and helpful and never made us feel an ounce of neglect yet the restuarant was so busy and she was managing so many tables

Fezeka was such a gem I give her 10/10 , the chicken Alfredo was mid and the peppers make it weird either than that the atmosphere was good and again Fezeka was a gem

I absolutely love going there. Nkosi is so efficient and helpful. 10/10 service. As an entertainer I often get forgotten about, but not at Panarottis. They make sure I've had something to eat and drink and it's always delicious. My guests and myself are very impressed. Thank you

Was so nice we was so hungry at that time food came through quite fast jus didn't like that we sat right opposite the door, wasn't my choice was the manager I guess and was ice cold n door kept opening lol other than that always deliver on taste 👌

Excellent affordable food and excellent service at Panarottis Gateway. About what people complain I can't understand. Anyway the staff and management blew my expectations. Being a hotelier, a former food and beverages director in upmarket hotels, a former mystery shopper, a former Quality Assurance Manager, I will confirm that my experience from arrival till end of my meal was Mind-blowing. I was there along with my brother for breakfast. We were warmly welcomed and made comfortable. Even a tall man whom I can guess is the manager came to check out satisfaction. Service is prompt and timely. They do make recommendations. Wifi is free. Everywhere is neat and tidy. Prices are value for money. Food is of decent portion. I dared visit the place and based on my experience, I will recommend and definitely dine there upon my next trip to Durban.
